Local Health bosses plan to close all Longton Cottage beds by 16 August. The day after will see the first in a series of public meetings that SAVE LONGTON COTTAGE HOSPITAL will hold across Stoke-on-Trent and the surrounding area. These meetings will provide a real consultation about the future of Longton Cottage and all our other local community hospitals.

We will be putting the case for re-opening all Longton Cottage’s beds and to save the hospital from closure. We will be inviting speakers from the North Staffs CCG and Stoke-on-Trent CCG along with the Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Partnership Trust to attend all of these meetings to give them the opportunity to explain their ‘new model’ for local community health care.

We need YOU to come along to tell local Health bosses Marcus Warnes and Stuart Poyner what YOU think of their plans to close our beds and our hospital!

If you want a public meeting in your area to build support for the fight to stop the closure of Longton Cottage then please get in touch. We can help you make this happen.
